Background.
The Office of Title IX Compliance at TU required a logo update that reflected their new phase of management. This final version serves as a symbol - direct, neat, and easy to read - that connects the organization to the university. As requested, the mark is paired with contact information; a streamlined design balances well with type.

Inspiration.
The University of Tulsa’s logo, or the basic composition of it, was a launching point for the logo’s final iteration. This connection is strengthened through use of the school colors.

Process.

The client contact, Leah Asbury, expressed a need for ease of recognition. As this office serves in an essential, and often time-sensitive, role, this logo needed to reflect strength and gravity. Concept work began with the cyan color tones that honor sexual assault awareness.

Motivation.
Many times this office is the first line of contact for survivors. It was an honor to be a part of creating the symbol for an organization that offers support and solidarity for victims of assault. The strong visual connection between the TU and Title IX logos will be a benefit moving forward, as it projects a message of unity and familiarity.
